  4. Do NOT buy a Toshiba. JUNK. I bought 2. One for me to take on my long military deployment and the other for my wife. The first one crashed a week into my deployment, the other 9 months later. We called Toshiba numerous times. By the time we got to customer support. THey said they are out of warranty. I would never recommend Toshiba for quality and customer service.

I own the macbook air and for me it is easily the best ultrabook out there with the best operating system and made from excellent materials with good battery life AND the design is second to none.
That is why so many of the laptops on here look simular to the apple designed laptop, because it is such a good looking machine. Just like every product that apple makes really.

  6. My three year old vaio z is 13 inch quad core i7, quad ssd, 8 gb ram, full hd. how can you say the Asus zenbook was the first laptop to feature full HD in a 13 inch panel.

    • Totally agree. The Vaio Z was / is an awesome machine way ahead of the game 2 years ago. Sony, why did you stop production of the Z? It was your best machine and now you have nothing to compare to it. I’m looking for a new machine now and there is nothing close to the Z two years on.
